Cook what ever pasta shape you
choose Add 1 tsp turmeric and 1 tsp chicken stock
to water. When cooked, drain and add 1 - 2 tsp oil to stop it
sticking together.. Add 1 small onion finely chopped, 1 handful of
roasted (unsalted) peanuts, 1 handful of raisins, 1 carrot coarsely
grated. Dressing - mix any mayonnaise with either chow chow or
piccalilli to
taste (about 1/2 and 1/2) Spoon through pasta and chill before serving

salad Sweet Cook some spiral pasta. When cooked,
drain and add 1 - 2 tsp oil to stop it sticking together.. Add loads of spring
onions, whole
kernel corn (drained) can of pineapple pieces and juice . Add some
mayonnaise, grated cheese and boiled eggs.

Spicy Pasta
You can add breadcrumbs to the
mix
Boil 450g Italian spaghetti pasta or ribbons with 1/2 tbsp salt until
just cooked. While cooking peel and finely chop or crush 2 cloves
garlic.
Seed and very finely chop 1/2 small dried red chilli (or use 1/4 tsp
dried) Finely chop 2 tbsp parsley.
Drain pasta and add all, plus 50mls extra virgin olive oil.
Toss. Serve sprinkled with heaps of fresh grated parmesan
cheese.

Pasta
Omelette
Cook the amount of pasta you need and drain and cool. Melt 30g butter
and cook one chopped onion.
Mix pasta with 2 whisked eggs, the onion and 1/4 tsp nutmeg. Melt 30g
butter and pour in mixture. Cook until set and golden underneath.
Heat grill, slice tomato and place on the top of omelette and sprinkle
with mozzarella cheese. Grill. Sprinkle with parmesan and fresh chives.

Macaroni Cheese
Can be made with store bought sachet white sauce
Fry 1 onion and 4 rashers of chopped up bacon
in 2 tbsp of butter. Add 2-3 tbsp of flour and cook for a minute and
add milk to make sauce.
Add 1 tsp of wholegrain mustard and 1 ~ 2 cups of grated edam or colby cheese Mix through 1 packet of
cooked San Remo pasta elbows.
Put in a large oven proof dish and place finely sliced tomatoes on the
top and sprinkle with a little grated cheese and a few breadcrumbs.
Bake until golden. Sprinkle some very finely chopped parsley over top
before serving if desired.
Variations:
Use two different grated cheese types to enhance and build
the flavour.
Add green herb stock OR chicken stock while cooking pasta
Add a tin of drained, crushed pineapple mixed in when placing into oven
proof dish.

Macaroni Cheese
Bake at 180ºC for approximately 30 minutes.
140g macaroni 2 tbsp butter 3 tbsp flour 300ml milk
170g grated cheese pinch of cayenne
1 tsp each of mixed mustard and instant stock powder
Cook the macaroni according to the directions on the packet, then drain
it well. Make a roux sauce with the butter,
flour and milk.
Add the mustard, stock powder and cayenne pepper. Add the cheese,
reserving about 2 tablespoons.
Add the cooked, drained macaroni to the sauce and spoon the mixture into
a greased ovenproof dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.

Macaroni Cheese
190deg for 20 mins or till
top browned.
1.5 cups macaroni 50g
butter 1 small onion 1/4 cup flour 1/2 tsp mustard
2 cups milk 2 cups grated cheese bacon bits, salt and
pepper.
Cook macaroni. Melt butter add onion and bacon and cook till onion soft.
Add flour, stir, add milk and mustard. Stir till thick and boiling.
Add 1/2 cheese, salt and pepper. Add macaroni and mix. Pour into oven
proof dish. Put remaining cheese on top
